After Rang De Basanti’s success at the box office, actress Soha Ali Khan seems excited about her forthcoming venture, Ahista Ahista. Speaking about Ahista Ahista, she says, “It was shot in Northern India. I used to get a wake up call at 4 am in the cold during the shooting. I play the role of an innocent girl who is duped by her boyfriend. Then I meet Abhay. We initially hate each other, but ultimately fall in love.”
The film produced by Anjum Rizvi is being directed by Shivam Nair. Shot on various locales, the film required the lead pair to travel a lot. Soha candidly reveals that the most exciting part of the shooting were the cycle rickshaws rides in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi to reach the locations. “The bylanes of Delhi were so crowded that going through them in a car was impossible. So, I ventured out in cycle rickshaws and it was an exhilarating experience,” she adds.
Soha had to wear a burkha every time she had to reach the locations in Old Delhi to avoid being mobbed. “On the sets, it was fun working with Abhay Deol. He used to play a lot of pranks. Working with director Shivam Nair was also a great experience,” she concludes.
